Terms of service
Effective: July 9, 2026
These are the terms for using Vynaris, an LLM inference gateway. By creating an account or using the API, you agree to them. Read on for the details — or the short version below if you're in a hurry.
The short version
- You prepay credits, we bill your usage at provider cost plus a disclosed markup (3%, dropping to 1% past $500/month of usage).
- Keep your API key secret — you're responsible for what happens under it.
- Don't abuse the service (fraud, multi-accounting for free credit, disrupting the system).
- No uptime guarantee on self-serve, and our liability is capped — see below for the exact terms.
The service
Vynaris is an inference gateway. You send requests to api.vynaris.com and we route them to third-party model providers, including OpenRouter and the model hosts behind it. We log request metadata (model used, token counts, cost, latency) and show it to you in your dashboard, and we bill the cost of each request against your prepaid balance.
We don't operate the underlying models. When you route a request to a provider, that provider's own terms and acceptable-use policies also apply to you.
Accounts and API keys
You can sign up with email and password, or with GitHub or Google. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials and API keys secret. Any usage that happens under your API key is billed to your account, whether or not you authorized it — so if a key leaks, rotate it immediately.
Prepaid credits and billing
Vynaris runs on prepaid credits. You deposit funds, and we deduct the provider's cost plus a disclosed markup as you use the API: 3% on your first $500 of usage each month, 1% beyond that. Unused credits are refundable on request, minus payment-processing fees.
Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, acting as merchant of record. We don't handle or store your card details.
You can request a refund of your paid balance at any time. We'll refund it minus any payment-processing fees already incurred on the original charge. The free $3 signup credit — and any other promotional credit — is not refundable and can't be transferred, exchanged for cash, or moved between accounts.
The free signup credit requires a verified email, is limited to one per person, and may be capped by a daily global budget — it can run out or be withdrawn without notice.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Vynaris to:
- Generate or distribute illegal content, or content that violates an upstream provider's usage policy.
- Commit fraud or abuse, including creating multiple accounts to farm free signup credit.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the service or bypass its rate or budget limits.
- Violate the acceptable-use terms of the model providers we route to.
We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If we suspend your account for reasons other than fraud or illegal activity, we'll refund your remaining paid balance where the law allows it.
Service provided "as is"
Vynaris's self-serve plan doesn't come with an uptime SLA. We route to third-party model providers, and those providers can change, degrade, or go down without notice — we pass that risk along transparently, but we can't control it. Model outputs are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. You're responsible for how you use them.
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Vynaris's total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data, even if we've been told they might happen.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. If a change is material, we'll email the address on your account before it takes effect. Continuing to use Vynaris after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
Vynaris is operated by a sole proprietor based in India. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute that can't be resolved directly will go to the courts of Gujarat, India.
